OVERVIEW
Hard Coking Coal Project is a proposed metallurgical coal mine with access to existing transport infrastructure
- The Crown Mountain Coking Coal Project is a proposed source of very high-quality coking coal within the Elk Valley of south-eastern British Columbia, Canada.
- The Project is located near to the town of Sparwood British Columbia and two coking coal mines operated by Teck Resources Limited (Elkview and Line Creek).
- Potential environmental interactions with the Project are considered in the design and planning of the Project and are subject to a rigorous regulatory process.
- Engagement with Indigenous peoples, local communities, and stakeholders will help shape the Project and efforts to mitigate potential impacts.
NWP COAL CANADA LTD OVERVIEW
- NWP Coal Canada Ltd ("NWP") is a Canadian resource development company committed to developing the Crown Mountain Hard Coking Coal Project to provide a source of steelmaking coal to global seaborne markets
- NWP operates a small owners team, led by Mike Allen, NWP’s General Manager, who has worked in and around a large number of mining projects in British Columbia for over 20 years. NWP seeks to use local consultants across the multiple disciplines of work being undertaken including Environmental and Mine Permitting works
- NWP is owned by Jameson Resources Limited (ASX:JAL) and Bathurst Resources Limited (ASX:BRL) who are both ASX listed entities
